We're building Toyo, a platform where AI agents run your business operations, not just assist with them.

Think of it like a team of new hires who work around the clock: researching, writing, building, following up. No technical skills required. You brief them like you'd brief a team member, they get to work.

Today we're pleased to announce a $4.3M seed round from Frontline Ventures, iNovia Capital, Tiny Supercomputer, and angels from Amazon, Microsoft, and Cloudflare.

The future is already here, but it's not evenly distributed

Most founders spend their days in the land of death by 10,000 cuts: context-switching between apps, triaging email, sitting in meetings. The strategic work you started the company to do is squeezed into whatever time is left.

A small group of technical early adopters is finding a way around this, using tools like OpenClaw to run AI agents that actually do real work. But bleeding-edge agentic workflows require developer skills. For the 48 million sub-100-employee businesses in English-speaking markets, that's not realistic. You don't have the technical skills or the spare time.

The average small company runs (and pays for) dozens of SaaS apps. None are designed to work together. Vendors bolting on AI chatbots doesn't fix the underlying problem.

We built Toyo to fix that.

How Toyo helps you

Toyo gives you AI agents that run 24/7 on your own secure cloud computer. They have a browser, connect to your apps, and do the work you're not getting to, securely, texting you when something needs your attention.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

You wake up informed, not reactive. Toyo has already scanned your inbox, tracked competitor changes, and flagged what matters. You get a two-minute brief tailored to your current priorities. Not a notification flood, and not another dashboard.

Outreach runs whether or not you're at your desk. Toyo finds the companies you're looking for, researches contacts, and drafts messages that reference real things: a prospect's funding round, their tech stack, something their CEO posted last week. You review, approve the ones you like, and Toyo sends them. Follow-ups happen on schedule.

Your website gets built, not discussed. You know your website needs updating, but you can't make time to brief an agency, wait six weeks, and spend $15-30K. Toyo audits competitors, researches SEO opportunities, asks you specific questions, then builds tailored options. You pick a direction and refine from there. This takes days, not months.

Your metrics get read, not just displayed. The data already exists across Google Analytics, Stripe, your CRM. Connecting the dots is technically complex, so it rarely gets done. Toyo handles the technical integration and sends you specific reports tailored to what you care about right now. What changed, and why. No need to look at a dashboard.

When agents finish something or need a decision, they send you a text. They propose actions and wait for your approval before doing anything that matters. You decide what runs on autopilot and what needs your sign-off.

Security matters when agents have access

Technical founders already run AI agents on their own machines. It works, but customer lists, API keys, and financials sit with no isolation. One breach or mistake and everything's exposed.

We built Toyo on Cloudflare. Every agent operates in an isolated, sandboxed environment. Your data never leaves your environment. You get the same capability as the early adopters, without the exposure.

We're already working this way

Between us, Damien, Stuart, and Aidan, we've spent over a decade each building software, with two acquisitions between us (MediaCore to Workday, Pusher to MessageBird). We started out building a voice AI product. But as we used AI agents to run our own company, we realised the agents were more interesting than the product.

So we cancelled our tools, starting with our CRM, email automation, and website builder. We replaced everything with agents that operate tools built around how we actually work. Teammates who had never written code rebuilt our marketing website in a weekend. Campaigns that used to take days now launch in hours.

After a week of demos, other founders told us they'd pay to replace their current tools with what we'd built. We're now refining the product with a small group of design partners.

From our investors

"The most powerful AI capabilities today are only accessible to technical early adopters. Toyo is closing that gap, giving every founder and operator AI agents that understand their business and work as an extension of their team, in a secure environment they can trust with real operations."

"AI agents demand unique infrastructure that traditional cloud architectures aren't built for. By leveraging Cloudflare, Toyo can deliver performant and secure AI agents at scale."

We're looking for founders and operators running companies with fewer than 100 people who are tired of spending their weeks on work that shouldn't require them.
